Local Benevolence
1% of our income is going to local ministries. SOV realizes the importance of funding the Public Church two feet of service by providing support for direct service (mercy) and advocacy (justice).

The following local benevolence mercy and justice programming allocates $5000 throughout 2006 with the provision that if additional funds are available the first $400 go to Habitat for Humanity.

Luther Heights Bible Camp
Luther Heights is a Bible camp in which SOV is just one of 17 congregations that owns it. The Camp employs only 2 year-round employees, Director and Pastor Eric Olsen and Program Directors Ben and Sarah Hamilton and is open from May to October each year. Programs are offered all around southern Idaho throughout the year. Programs are available for families, youth of all ages, and adults.
