Youth Education Opportunities
Beginning June 6, we will have a weekly Summer Sunday School for all ages, from 10:20 to 11:05 a.m.
- Children going into 5th grade or younger will meet in the youth room for a Bible Story and activities based on Veggie Tales videos. Stories include Joseph, Ruth, Ester, Daniel, Gideon, and more. Adult leaders are needed and the format is quite simple to lead with minimal preparation.
- Youth going into 6th-12th grades will meet in the Archives room for breakfast snacks and Bible-themed conversation about a current topic, movie, music, news story, or issue. Keven Denen, Greg Bohlken, and others will lead. Other adults are welcome to be involved; contact Greg Bohlken if interested.
Children's Church is offered year round at all worship services. Here, our children ages 3-8 join with a leader to explore the gospel lesson of the day on "their level." We pray, light the altar candle, read the Scripture and complete an activity or craft relating to the lesson of the day. This does not replace what Bible stories are learned in Children's Sunday School. Contact Heidi Van Stone or Linda Anderson for more information.
